Sound Options

Default Sound for New Timers

Select a sound from the dropdown in each timer's settings panel
Choose "OFF" to disable sound for that timer
Sounds play when:
- Recording a lap time
- Stopping a timer

Available Sounds

Short Beep: Quick, subtle feedback
Tick: Traditional stopwatch sound
Gong: Distinctive notification
Censor Beep: Sharp, attention-grabbing sound
Beep Beep: Double beep for emphasis

How to Use the Stopwatch

Our advanced stopwatch tool offers a comprehensive solution for timing multiple events simultaneously. Here's a detailed guide on how to make the most of its features:

Basic Controls

Start/Stop: Click the green Start button or press Space to begin timing. The button turns red when running.
Lap Times: Click the blue Lap button or press L to record a lap time while the timer is running.
Reset: Click the gray Reset button or press R to clear the timer and all lap times.

Managing Multiple Timers

Click the "Add New Timer" button or press Ctrl + to create additional timers.
Use Tab to switch between different timers.
Each timer operates independently, allowing you to track multiple events simultaneously.

Lap Time Feature

Each lap time is displayed with a number, editable name, and recorded time.
Click the edit icon to modify a lap time manually.
Click the delete icon to remove a lap time.
Use the "Export Lap Times" button to download all lap times as a CSV file.

Sound Feedback

Enable sound feedback in the settings panel of each timer.
Choose from five different sound options:
- Short Beep: Quick, subtle feedback
- Tick: Traditional stopwatch sound
- Gong: Distinctive notification
- Censor Beep: Sharp, attention-grabbing sound
- Beep Beep: Double beep for emphasis
Sounds play when:
- Recording a lap time
- Stopping a timer
Select "OFF" to disable sound for that timer

Global Controls

When multiple timers are present, use the global controls at the top to:
Start All: Start all stopped timers simultaneously
Lap All: Record a lap time for all running timers
Reset All: Reset all timers to zero

Exporting Data

Click the "Export Lap Times" button to download a CSV file.
The CSV includes lap numbers, names, and recorded times.

Enable sound feedback for better awareness of lap recordings.
Export your data regularly to prevent loss of timing information.
