Our Story

DateTools began with a simple problem: calculating business days between dates for project planning was unnecessarily complicated.

How We Started

In 2018, our founder was working on a software project with tight deadlines and complex scheduling requirements. Frustrated by the lack of simple, accessible tools for date calculations, they built a basic interval calculator for internal use.

What started as a solution to a personal task which quickly gained popularity among colleagues and friends. Recognizing the broader need for intuitive date tools, and the lack of any free solution we registered the Date.tools domain in 2019.

We delayed the launch of our website because we had to purchase DateTools.com domain, but that wasn't available for sale. This was necessary to avoid any other competitor doing it and to avoid confusion.

Where We Are Today

Date.Tools is still a small website, it serves hundreds of users daily, from individual professionals managing their schedules to development teams integrating our widgets into their applications.

We've expanded our original toolkit to include specialized tools for various industries, including project management, event planning, and software development. Simplicity and accuracy remains at the foundation of everything we build. We keep improving DatesBack, Count2Date and DateTools.
